At Formatt Design Group we take pride in the exceptional quality and craftsmanship of our furniture. Our attention to detail in design, material and construction is unyielding. And so is our commitment to customer satisfaction.

 Furniture: Full payment is required for in stock items prior to shipping.  Special orders are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-CANCELLABLE.   Furniture sold from sales floor is FINAL SALE.  Furniture damages must be noted in writing on driver’s delivery confirmation in order to be considered for repair or exchange.

Custom upholstery: Custom orders require 50% deposit prior to production.  Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE once the order is in production. Special orders are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-CANCELLABLE.  PRODUCTION STARTS UPON RECEIPT OF FABRIC. Lead time for upholstery orders is 4-6 weeks unless otherwise specified.  Shipping and Handling are separate charges.


Wood Products : Due to natural characteristics of wood, variation in color, texture, grain, and sheen may occur.

These variations DO NOT constitute a reason for return or compensation.

Delivery Process: Delivery personnel will unload, uncrate and place the furniture in the requested room setting. The delivery personnel is not equipped to hang mirrors or art on walls.  Please have the space cleared for your furniture. It is your responsibility to know the size and dimensions of the furniture you have ordered. Delivery personnel will not be responsible for furniture that is too large to go into a room, hallway, doorway, entrance passage or stairwell. Delivery personnel will require you to sign a waiver before any attempt is made in difficult situations that risk damage to your home and the furniture being delivered. Furniture that you have ordered that is to large to fit into your home is not the responsibility of the delivery personnel and cannot be returned or cancelled.

Shipping: Shipping ETAs are estimated, we are not responsible for travel conditions beyond our control.  Shipping quotes are estimated on weight, we will kindly source the best option for you.   

Order Cancellation: terms of cancellations to be placed within 24 hours from the time the order was placed. Any exception to our cancellation policy will be solely at Formatt Design Group discretion. In the event of cancellation beyond the 24 hour period, the order will be subject to a 25% restocking fee as well as any transportation charges incurred with the order.

On occasion we will need to cancel an order if an item becomes permanently backordered or discontinued.


Accessories and items that are not special returned within 7 days and will be issued store credit valid for one year with formatt4u.  25% restocking fee and freight charges both ways will be applied. Custom rugs are final sale. Unused rugs a 25% stocking fee will apply plus freight charges.

Special order Furniture, upholstery, fabric, Art, photography and sale items are all considered final sale.

Damages: All damages or defective items must be reported within 24 hrs from receipt of shipment. Furniture shipments with visible freight damage should be refused.  Returns will not be accepted without being reported.  


Formatt Design Group reserves the right to correct any error, inaccuracy or omission and to change or update the information contained on our site without prior notice to you and without liability to you.
